What to do to chase our current economic blues away? Party like it's 1939, of course. Depression Era-chic soiree Tog to the Bricks takes you back to a time when everyone was three sheets to the wind in spite of empty pockets. Tonight's party has a 1939 NY World's Fair theme, so optimism about "building the World of Tomorrow" is encouraged, as is period cocktail attire. And if the cover makes you want hurl a copy of Hard Times at someone's head, worry not: the bar is open and the free snacks plentiful until 10pm. Now there's something to smile about.
