"Body Music" is a great disco track by the Strikers. It also refers to musical forms that primarily use the body to generate sound, be it South African gumboot, Indonesian kecak, or American beat-boxing. After a successful initial run last year, the International Body Music Festival is back, bringing together an impressive array of musicians from across the globe who aren't afraid to get physical. From Samoan sasa to Arabic clapping circles, this year's stellar lineup is sure to have you thigh-slapping, hand-clapping, tongue-clicking, and foot-stomping right along in time.
