As the Bird and the Bee, LA-bred vocalist Inara George and multi-instrumentalist Greg Kurstin take a snazzy jazz-tropicalia approach to melodic pop. Their self-titled 2007 debut album served up a danceable dose of pristinely produced tunes, on which George's harmonized vocals are layered into a tidy pop knot. Tonight, the two serve up some more honey in celebration of their new album, Ray Guns Are Not Just the Future.
