In the West Coast premiere of Tracey Scott Wilson's play, the ever-present issue of integrity in journalism is brought to the fore. The plot centers on an ambitious reporter who goes against her editor's wishes to track down the story of the century; in the process, she's forced to consider the tenuous boundary between reality and fiction. Inspired by the Washington Post's Janet Cooke scandal, The Story combines savvy character development and a riveting storyline to investigate the complex nature of truth.
