Bacon may have had its 15 minutes, but a 3,000-pound killer pig is forever. If you missed Jim Isaac's wonderfully twisted melding of creature features such as Jaws and the rural Gothic of Deliverance during its sold-out run last fall, don't pass up this chance to catch it at Landmark's After Dark midnight movie series. When John and his city-mouse friends head up to his uncle's remote ranch to hunt a legendary boar, they wind up facing down gun-toting rednecks, a machete-wielding cult leader and his pot-growing crew of femmes fatales, and one hell of a hog. Cameos from blues-harp legend Charlie Musselwhite and Primus' Les Claypool (who contributed to the soundtrack) only up the weirdness factor.
