Clad in their trademark brazier-like wimples and Kabuki-meets-Mardis Gras makeup, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence have always carried out their good works — from helping at AIDS hospices to volunteering at pride parades — in style. YBCA helps San Francisco's most (in)famous order celebrate three decades of spreading the gospel of faith, hope, and fabulousness with an exhibit culled from the Sisterhood's vast archives, as well as several special events. The Good Friday opening-night party kicks things off with a processional, a breaking-of-the-seal ceremony, and plenty of divinely inspired revelry to help keep spirits high until Sunday, when the Sisters take over Dolores Park for their annual Easter picnic.
