Junior Boys w/ Max Tundra

The Max Tundra faithful waited an excruciating six years for Parallax Error Beheads You, the follow-up to the groundbreakingly idiosyncratic Mastered by Guy at the Exchange. And while Max's friends in his British homeland have been able to catch him in the flesh on a few choice occasions, stateside fans have been out of luck until this year. Tundraniacs will be familiar with the experimental-pop variety hour he puts together for his Rotogravure show on Resonance FM, but tonight's live performance may hew closer to his studio albums' output: sweetly hyperactive vox over seeming Commodore 64-vintage production and dextrous, one-man-band arrangements. Junior Boys headline in support of their forthcoming exercise in teflon grooves, Begone Dull Care.
