As part of a worldwide celebration of space exploration, Yuri's Night (named for Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space) brings together scientists, engineers, artists, and musicians to showcase our collective space legacy and hopes for the future. This year's event has partnered with the California Academy of Sciences' weekly Thursday evening shindig, Nightlife, and will include space-themed art and science installations, cutting-edge interactive demonstrations from local green-technology companies, hot DJs, and even a few surprises from NASA.
