How much wild, politically conscious, no-holds-barred creativity can you pack into a black box theater? Nonprofit CounterPULSE puts the estimate at about 25 companies and 100 performances for this year's three day May Day blowout benefit. The crème de la crème of SF's performaning arts underground (W. Kamau Bell, KUNST-STOFF, Killing My Lobster, and Fauxnique are just a few of the slated names) are bringing their A game — be it drag, sketch comedy, experimental dance, or choral music. You bring the donations and an open mind.
