Leaving the crumbling, blood-splattered Hollywood bungalow of its last production, Pure Shock Value, for the open road, sketch-comedy troupe Killing My Lobster conducts a laugh-filled trip through the Golden State in KML Hits Highway 101. Meet the Schacter family: patriarch Chet is a failed real-estate speculator who still relives his collegiate salad days by heading up folk-punk trio Bittyr Zyther; wife Shirley is a stay-at-home-mom; daughter Ericka is a goth; and son Wylie is the proverbial younger brother from hell. Trap them all in a Prius wth a Hummel collector and an idiot-manchild Disney fan and you have a recipe for years of family therapy — and a fun night at the theater.
