Between Governor Schwarzenegger threatening to cut AIDS funding and the ongoing Prop 8 debacle, LGBT folk and their allies have had plenty to be pissed off about lately — so thank your lucky stars that Limp Wrist are playing a one-off gig as Pride season kicks in. The unapologetically and politically queer hardcore band has been dropping two-minute fits of righteous anger for ten years now, calling out both politicians and the punk scene on homophobia, and making mosh pits hotter than any disco dance floor. Tonight, the group is joined by locals Hunx and His Punx — the new trashy garage-rock project of Gravy Train!!! beefcake Hunx — and Go-Go's-influenced power-pop trio Brilliant Colors.
