Southern Exposure's annual benefit isn't just one of the best places to scoop up amazing work by local artists for a song, it's also one of the art community's classiest shebangs, period. This year, in addition to the live and silent auctions, there are several on-site installations: Jennifer O. Keeffe, Bessma Khalaf, Forest Kelly, and Sean McFarland sketch party-goers' silhouettes in "shadow portraits," while Jen Merrill, Jennie Ottinger, and Adriane Colburn provide other paper and drawn likenesses. And, in case you get hungry while sitting, a bevy of local restaurants and food and drink vendors is on hand to satiate your palette.
