The Crucible's ninth-annual Fire Arts Festival is the largest event of its kind on the West Coast. Be astonished by colossal fire sculptures and dazzled by fire dancers, all while perusing dozens of interactive art installations. This year, the fest has expanded to a ten-acre space, which means more performers, more exhibits, and — of course — more fire. In addition to the stage performances and installations, the festival also features the world premiere of the acclaimed Rootabaga Opera. All proceeds support Crucible's arts-education program.
