Attention theatre geeks of all stripes: don your commedia dell'arte mask, a monocle, or your freshest pair of throwback Adidas, and head down to the San Francisco Theater Festival. Packing a whopping 130 shows into tightly programmed 15-30 minute segments, the all-day blowout promises everything from an Aristophanes comedy about the Hades-bound and an abbreviated rendition of My Fair Lady, to a spot about our healthcare system's failure — not to mention the vaudevillian hip-hop combo that examines racism and internalized self-hatred in the German Jewish experience. Acts not to miss include solo performers Dan Hoyle and Charlie Varon, rabble-rousers Killing My Lobster and BATS Improv, and circus maven Unique Derique.
