Talib Kweli is known for dropping two doses of consciousness per beat, so when the soft-spoken half of Black Star teamed up with Philadelphia-based MC Res and Toronto singer/rapper Graph Nobel to make a fun dance project, fans' ears perked right up. Sounding like a pass-the-mic round robin between Daft Punk, Missy Elliott, and Kylie Minogue — with samples from Kanye West and Corey Hart thrown in for good measure — Idle Warship are sure to blow the blues right out of Yoshi's, at least for a night or two.
