The future of journalism is not happening online, but on stage. After a stunningly successful debut, the salon-esque Pop-Up Magazine returns with another live "issue" in which a ridiculously talented group of storytellers, filmmakers, journalists, and thinkers present their work in person. Some of tonight's contributors include hip-hop scholar Jeff Chang, Peabody Award-winning local documentary filmmaker Steven Okazaki, writer Daniel Alarcon, Slate technology columnist Farhad Manjoo, Meatpaper co-founder and KQED correspondent Amy Standen, and many others.
