Mike Davis creates nightmarish landscapes, both delicate and monstrous, that would make Bosch proud. The self-taught painter and tattoo artist's latest menagerie of bird-headed peasants, bleeding ear-cows, and cartoonish skeletons makes for a nice counterpart to fellow tattooer Henry Lewis' charcoal drawings of vaguely Renaissance warriors which recall both Leonardo da Vinci's sketches and the fantasy art of Frank Frazetta.
