Let's just get this out of the way: Dave Eggers will be serving grilled cheese sandwiches at this reading. No, seriously, the 826 head honcho will be doling out the all-American meal in support of authors Annie La Ganga and Bill Cotter, who are actually doing the heavy reading. La Ganga's memoir Stoners and Self-Appointed Saints is a collage of poems and anecdotes that proves that humor can shine through in even the most experimental writing. Cotter's McSweeney's-published debut Fever Chart follows the adventures of Jerome Coe, a psychologically damaged sweetheart who learns a thing or two about life, love, and grilled cheese sandwiches in the Big Easy.
