Stephin Merritt, the man who brought us the Future Bible Heroes, the 6ths, and the Gothic Archies, returns to Noise Pop with his most successful and prolific project, the Magnetic Fields. Merritt's past live shows have been legendary (performing all of 69 Love Songs in back-to-back shows, for example), so we have no idea what to expect tonight. American Music Club singer Mark Eitzel, who has the market cornered on barroom laments, opens.
