BRMC has picked up, moved around, and finally found themselves. They currently reside in LA, but a crucial stop on the journey was a winter in Philadelphia, locked in a basement studio. After six snowed-in months, they emerged with "Beat The Devil's Tattoo" inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's 1839 short story "The Devil in the Belfry." The new drummer, Leah Shapiro (from Danish alt-rockers The Raveonettes,) adds basic intuition and savory serenades to the band's rebellious blues beats and fire-inducing psych-rock. Sure to set you ablaze.
