Efterklang is a Danish band who write, produce and record their material in a bunker in Copenhagen. Their sound has steadily morphed from quiet electronica to lush chamber pop. Listen out for how they combine strings, horns, and harps with quirky samples (like the sound of an 8mm camera) at their upcoming SF show. Their name translates as "reverberation". In Danish, the word is also a metaphor for "remembrance;" the two definitions sum up their music rather well.
