Workshop SF is the brainchild of Kelly Malone, Philly-native, cancer ass-kicker, and the creative mind behind the Indie Mart. "Indie Mart is where you go to buy and sell handmade; Workshop is where you come to make it," she explains. For $10/hour you can drop in and use their screen printing facilities and sewing machines, while head-banging to Sabbath and knocking back PBRs. Workshop studios also offer a smorgasbord of classes, ranging from building glass terrariums to heavy metal aerobics. This week's Mad Men-inspired DIY Mixology class features classic cocktail recipes for movers and shakers.
