“The bi-coastal underground cabaret is celebrating its second birthday party, with legendary drag performance artist Joey Arias as host. You’re in good hands — for the last six years Arias’ has been the emcee of the x-rated Cirque du Soleil show Zumanity out in Sin City. His stunning raspy voice wrings originality out of standards, and he drags blues lyrics into a bold transgender context. T-girl chanteuse Veronica Klaus is on co-host duty. Two shows, at 9:30 and 11:30, feature more than a dozen acts, including Flavorpill-favorite Fauxnique. Go mingle at Tingel.”
