El Perro Del Mar is not quite a rock en español act, but instead the alias of Sarah Assbring, a sensitive girl from Sweden who, as legend has it, started songwriting after befriending an equally sensitive dog in Spain. As saccharine as that sounds, Assbring's take on delicate chamber pop crossed with vintage soul and doo-wop can melt any heart, canine or otherwise.
