This art auction has a towering lineup. Local highlights include illustrator and mixed-media artist Lisa Congdon, who is also the co-owner of design boutique/gallery Rare Device. Congdon makes simple and striking prints, like a mounted moose-head that reads "courage," and painted leaves and acorns that look like they have been scientifically cataloged. Also, look out for Bay-based artist Hillary Pecis's beautifully intricate collages composed of shards of glossy magazine pages. With bids starting at a mere $25, who knows maybe you'll bring home a piece by a future MOMA star...
