“The Cat’s Pajamas, a monthly mash-up of cabaret and performance art at the Make-Out Room, is celebrating the evolution of revolution. The Revolutionary Poets Brigade will spit propaganda poetry, and showgirl troupe the Bombshells (where fingerless gloves meet jazz hands) will high-kick some skulls with their punk rock routine. Other highlights include songbird Xandra, post-mod musician Andy Warthol, queer beatboxer Sam Sax, and video artist Nate Pagel. It’ll be a forward-thinking night. Long live the proletariat!
