Twelve years after Moon Safari, Air floats onward where other analog-gizmo fetishists have stalled. It's down to Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin's smart way with a dichotomy: retro and futuristic; camp and sophisticated; fey and debonair; plastic and warm. It also has something to do with the Sexy Boy duo's arsenal of wonderful bleeps and whooshes and sneaky, ear-worming melodies. Tonight Dunckel and Godin are joined only by drummer Alex Thomas (Bat for Lashes/Badly Drawn Boy), as they perform stripped-down versions of their classics and rework tracks from last year's return-to-form Love 2.
