One man's weeds are another man's supper. Wild radish, miner's lettuce, chickweed, stinging nettles, and edible flowers — there's a bounty of food on your doorstep, if you know where to look. Iso Rabin's mission is to make us do what our ancestors did: gather our food. His company forageSF hosts edible walking tours in the Bay Area. They're two-hour scavenger hunts through local urban parks, where your tour guide sniffs out wild food and educates you about sustainable harvesting. You get to take home your haul and cook it for dinner. Just don't forget to rinse your greens.
