Do the twist to Chuck Berry and Little Richard for the freedom of free radio. After 13 years of spinning secretively over the airwaves, Pirate Cat Radio was smacked with a $10,000 fine by the FCC. It has continued to broadcast over the Internet, but it can't broadcast at it's home, 87.9 FM, unless we help! PCR is a volunteer-run, community radio station that spreads the people's voice and airs daily news shows from the BBC and Al Jazeera, while fighting the corporate monopolization of airwaves. Help support PCR by grooving to oldies, and if you're feeling insecure about your mashed potato, come by at 7:30pm for free dance lessons with Swing Goth.
