Curiouser and curiouser. LA pop surrealist Camille Rose Garcia is following Tim Burton down the Rabbit Hole. In her new version of Lewis Carroll’s classic book, the artist keeps Alice’s blonde hair, blue dress and white apron, but revamps her as an Elegant Gothic Lolita complete with black lips, petticoat and a bat-like hair bow. Fans of Mad Hatters and Mock Turtles should head to Booksmith, where she’ll be signing copies on Monday.
