“Groovy hair haven Glama-Rama has a shiny new space, and they're inaugurating it with an art show by San Francisco pop painter Danyol. And what more fitting artist for a salon show than one who sets mightily-coiffed fashion plates amid a panic of colors strewn with bits of style bibles and glamor rags? Danyol was recently selected by 1800 to create a limited edition tequila bottle. He has a catchy aesthetic, influenced by Andy Warhol and American sitcoms. This new work brings together other early influences Wild Kingdom and 1980s hair magazines. Add cocktails, nibbles, and music to the mix, and you've got a semi-permanent cure for your Sunday blues.”
