Noisebridge is a community space in the Mission where creative technologists and wannabes exchange ideas, work on projects, and party. Their classes and workshops offer hungry minds a chance to learn everything from computer programming to knot-tying. Tonight, the Gamebridge Unityversity shows you how to build 3D video games. The Unity3D authoring tool makes it easy even for novices to develop for PC, iPhone, iPad, or Wii. There's also the opportunity to work on the open-source project Primer (which takes the player on an adventure through the history of the cosmos). Expect cool beverages and an open-minded, productive environment — Noisebridge takes its code of conduct from Bill and Ted: "Be excellent to each other."

Welcome to Gamebridge Unityversity. Game development is a lot of fun and is an awesome way to learn computer programming. A lot of us like game development and others would like to learn how, so it makes sense to get together and share our interests and experience. Things to bring: laptops, especially ones with decent 3D graphics cards; iPhones, Androids, and other cool game hardware devices for building games on. To run Unity3D you'll need one running Mac or Windows. Pre-install Unity and some of the  tutorials if you can so you can get started right away. Also bring connectors to hook your laptop to the projector screen to show off your games and development processes to the group.
