SFMOMA says:
Hans Richter (1946), 96 min., 16mm. Phyllis Wattis Theater. It took Richter three years to complete Dreams That Money Can Buy while teaching at the Institute of Film Techniques at the City College of New York. The result is a blockbuster of experimental film. Alexander Calder, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Fernand Léger, and Man Ray join Richter in presenting a series of dreamscapes investigating wishfulfillment. $5 general; free for SFMOMA members or with museum admission (requires a free ticket, which can be picked up in the Haas Atrium).
