Ryan Heffington, an LA-based choreographer, has been described as "the lost, sweaty love child of Martha Graham and Freddie Mercury." He has choreographed roaming projects in LA woods and backyards in which audience members encounter pantomimed murder scenes and couples having "dance-sex." He's a self-taught tailor who has designed dance costumes for Britney Spears and Beck. And every weekend at his LA studio, he teaches a class called "Sweaty Sundays" where attendees like Chloe Sevigny dance frenetically to indie rock and new wave '80s classics. Tonight, Heffington joins up with SF drag celeb Fauxnique to host his Late Night Dance Class for Everyone, a night-owl version of Sweaty Sundays. Sweat, celebration, and revelation? Check.
