Superheroes walk among us. The Eye is a Mountain View-based masked crusader who helps keep the streets safe from evil-doers. His identity is secret, but he admits that he used to be a private investigator and uses his years of experience to make crime-fighting gadgets. One of these gadgets is his ebony cane, which he has dubbed Nightmare. The handle can be swapped out for attachments which include a magnet, a gripping claw, and a video camera. Even though the Eye only uses his powers for defensive purposes, he has mastered a kung fu style called Jade Mantis. Today, keep an eye out for him at the Superhero Street Fair and celebrate all the crusaders who fight for justice both on and off the comic-strip page. Up, up, and away!

Note:

Admission is a donation of $10 in superhero attire or $20 in non-superhero attire (i.e. Clark Kent).

Superhero Street Fair says:

We recognize people and organizations throughout the Bayview community for their outstanding contribution to the arts and/or community action. This vibrant neighborhood is home to many visual artists, music performers, and community activists. We wish to provide a platform to showcase the achievements of these people, and enjoy a day of celebration and community. There will be art exhibits, live theatre and poetry, live and electronic music, food, and an awards ceremony recognizing specific individuals and organizations for their contribution. Ceremonies will include the Mayoral proclamation of "Superhero Day" in San Francisco.
