“The Pop-Up General Store is a roaming food market organized by a crew of professional foodies, many of whom are current or former Chez Panisse chefs. This time around, the General Store is making an appearance in the historic Temescal streetcar depot that houses Grace Street Catering. Along with all of the spicy sausage, heirloom tomato sauce, and fresh pasta you could need for an authentic Italian dinner night, look out for ready-to-cook spare ribs, berry buttermilk panna cotta, cheddar scallion English muffins, local olive oils, salty chocolate cookies, and a dizzying array of other goodies. The General Store also reminds you to bring your reusable shopping bags, just in case you don't end up devouring all of your groceries on the spot. Act fast! This store turns into an organic pumpkin at seven o'clock sharp.”
