“San Franciscans love yoga. In 1955, two of our trailblazing residents, Walt and Magaña Baptiste, started the Yoga Philosophic Health Center — the first of its kind in the US. Today, our residents practice every type of yoga under the sun from hatha, to bikram, to... clothing-optional (SF's courts even ruled in favor of George Monty Davis, granting him the right to publicly practice his poses in the buff on the grounds that nude ain't lewd). Tonight, join Flavorpill for a night of dancing and downward dogs with the DJ stylings of TransportedSF's Alxndr. The kombucha is complimentary and the proceeds go towards a campaign to get yoga in the classroom. Let's get bent!”
