In the summer of '88, a group of disgruntled crew members passed around an edit of his potty-mouthed (and hilarious) outbursts during a sweltering industrial commercial shoot. The VHS tape circulated around over the years, eventually finding its way to YouTube. Today, the four-minute Winnebago Man video has been seen by more than 20 million people worldwide, and is regarded as one of the first and funniest viral videos. Filmmaker Ben Steinbauer goes in search of Rebney — and finds him living alone on a mountaintop, unaware of his fame.
