“When she's not starring in the Golden Girls drag show or winning the title of Miss Trannyshack, Pollo Del Mar is getting sainted. In 2008, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence bestowed the title "Saint Pollo Mal de Mer (Chicken of the Streets)" on her, in recognition of her gay marriage activism work. On Monday nights, the Notorious PDM presides as femcee over Brain Farts — SF's only trivia night hosted by a drag queen. Past themes have included To Wong Foo, Stephen King, and Bea Arthur. Think you've got what it takes? Prove it to Del Mar, as long as you're willing to let her call the shots — she will literally be pouring Jell-O shots down the winners' throats.”
