“Let's just get this out of the way: whoever invented the happy hour was a genius. But not all happy hours are created equal. We're partial to creative drink specials, great eats (man can't thrive on pretzels alone), entertainment that goes beyond a bartender's playlist, and of course, the chance to do our drinking for a cause whenever possible! We've teamed up with Amstel to find the very best our neighborhood has to offer. The feel-good bonus: We're partnering with local charity Root Division, which subsidizes both artists' studios and exhibition space, and provides adult ed and youth art classes to the community. Come celebrate the launch of this collaboration with a special party at the Elbo Room on Thursday, October 27.
