“Local garage pop band Sonny and the Sunsets had a great 2010 with the resounding success of their album Tomorrow Is Alright. However, in 2009, they weren't so lucky. Their coastside studio at the time was hit hard by a hurricane which destroyed many of their recordings. But some of the material prevailed and was compiled on their sophomore album, Hit After Hit, released via Fat Possom earlier this year. Tonight, don your spiffiest Hawaiian shirt and catch Sonny's doo-wop laden, beach-ready tunes at the Great American Music Hall. Hit after hit, indeed.”
