“Riding your bike is a no-brainer. Apart from the facts that it's inexpensive, leaves you healthier, and contributes almost nothing to the fossil fuel quagmire we're bogged in, it's also taking on a kind of vogue, with its own fashions, subcultures, and politics. But in spite of its utopian qualities, mustering the capital to support bike-friendly laws and infrastructure isn't as easy as placing hard-balling lobbyists in Washington like the auto industry does. So, let's play Bicycle Bingo! This weekly event supports an ever-growing roster of A-list of peddle- and neighborhood-friendly nonprofits: East Bay Bicycle Coalition, Rebuilding Together Oakland, East Bay College Fund, United Roots Oakland, and more. Come out, have some fun, throw down a nickel or dime for the cause, and you might even get to ride the bingo bike!”

Bicycle Bingo continues, every Thursday from 7-9pm, and we're bringing in a much larger number of beneficiaries that rotate more often. This is becoming a well-attended event, and is lucrative for our non-profit beneficiaries; we've helped raise thousands of dollars over the past 2 1/2 months for our partners, and we're excited about new groups and sponsors in upcoming months.
