“Sundance may have sold out, but SF IndieFest keeps it real with its annual run of low-budget independent films and parties. This year's cinematic selection includes Dance Dance Revolution battles to the death (The FP), ghosts seeking new bodies (Spanish experimental film Finisterrae), and an exuberant dance journey through New York City set to Girl Talk mash-ups (Girl Walk // All Day). The festival opens with 4:44 Last Day on Earth, which follows a boho couple as the apocalypse approaches; and the Spinal Tap Tribute Opening Night party, featuring Live Evil performing as Spinal Tap, and Mötley Crüe tribute band Wildside.”
