-
“Chloette van Hossmere”. Chloette sounds ridiculously French… van Hossmere is a nod to a character Carol Channing played in “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” I’ve always wanted to sit on top of a piano in a dimly lit bar singing tragic love songs. My stage name would be Chloette van Hossmere.

- What's the most desolate wilderness you've ever visited?
-
The deserts of Arizona and Nevada are the most desolate places I've ever visited: empty, dead stretches along the highway that make me realize how helpless I would be without the protective (air conditioned) shell of my car. These lifeless zones are interrupted only by Native American themed casinos, and I can't think of anything more desolate than that.
