Flavorpill says
Booksmith is more than just a great place to browse for a new read and talk shop with a staff of bookworms that are as personable as they are knowledgeable. The cozy Haight Street institution also hosts one of the best series of author readings in the city. That impetus to connect readers with great writers and thinkers is also behind the store's newest venture, Berkeley Arts and Lectures, which puts on readings and talks on a larger scale than in-store events.
