“Cate Le Bon is a Welsh singer-songwriter whose music can go from simple folk pastoralism to flirting with psych-tinged riffing backed by a full band. These are both '70s vintage sounds, but Le Bon gives them a modern twist by way of her knowing lyricism. With local support from Charles Leo Gebhardt IV's bluesy, Brit-invaded indie rock.”
